Project Northland
This in-school curriculum for grades 6, 7, and 8 is designed to reduce the incidence of use of alcohol by youth. It shows similar effects on tobacco and marijuana use. Portions of the multi-year curricula are implemented in Cortland and McGraw districts. McGraw also implements the High School portion of the program. The coalition has two certified trainers for this validated science-based prevention program. Trainings in the implementation of the program have been supported by the Coalition.
For more information, contact the coalition office at Catholic Charities of Cortland County, 607-756-5992 ext, 25.
