Mental Health Project Coordinator

Details: CACTC is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Project Coordinator as part of the three-year SAMHSA Mental Health Awareness Training project. The Cortland County
MHAT Project is dedicated to enhancing mental health awareness for youth aged 13-18.
The initiative aims to fill service gaps and amplify mental health knowledge through three core evidence-based programs: Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA), SafeTalk, and
Crisis Intervention Training (CIT).

Compensation: varies depending on if you choose 900 or 1200 hour track; October 2023 – August 2024, 1200 hours (0.7 FTE), ~30-35 hours/week OR 900 hours (0.5 FTE), ~20-25 hours/week
Details: This Public Health AmeriCorps member (PHA) will be working to support the work of CACTC, a regional public health agency based in Cortland County. The PHA will support outreach and engagement efforts tied to all projects across the agency including early childhood literacy, youth prevention, overdose prevention and work around other emerging issues. The PHA will support the roll out of the Life Needs Assessment, help manage and oversee communications work, carry out a wide range of outreach and educational activities and more!
